Ready to bring your woodworking skills to life? Join our hands-on Shaker-Inspired Side Table with a Drawer course and build your very own functional piece of furniture!
What You'll Learn:
- Use hand tools and woodworking machinery to create the components'.
- Learn how to build tapered legs using jigs & fixtures for precision.
- Dive deep into drawer construction techniques and perfect your assembly skills.
- Understand the crucial concept of wood movement for strong, lasting furniture.
Some previous woodworking experience preferred, but not essential.
Most materials provided (Student to supply sandpaper etc, this will be discussed on the first night) - Just bring your passion for learning and a can do attitude!
Class runs from 6.00pm to 9.00pm and includes pack up and clean up time.

This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy, numeracy and wellbeing needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
