About this course
Kei ngaa maunga whakahii, ki ngaa awa whakatere taniwha, koorewangia ngaa wai whakaora e too taatou waka reo Maaori, he piko he taniwha, he piko he taniwha!
The journey of learning Te Reo Maaori is like that of a river, with bends and turns, fast and slow periods, with one consistent, it's always in motion!
This Thursday class focuses around;
- Expanding our knowledge of different tense markers
- Strengthening our understanding of Maaori and English grammar
- Practicing conversational reo, with more realistic implications
Ahakoa te ngoikore o te kaakano, ka tipu hei kahikatea!
Although the seedling may be feeble, it will grow into a sturdy kahikatea!

Class will be 6.00pm to 8.30pm then 30 min question/packup time
This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy, numeracy and wellbeing needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
