New Zealand Sign Language:
New Zealand has three ‘official’ languages: English; Maori and New Zealand Sign Language.
Deaf people in New Zealand are very passionate about their visual language and it is being shared with hearing impaired, people with other disabilities.
Sign Language is part of Deaf people’s culture and living in their silent world.

This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy, numeracy and wellbeing needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
