Join Peggy, a lifelong knitting enthusiast, as she guides you through the exciting world of knitting in a warm and friendly environment.  Learn some new knitting language and terminology.  How to add, minus and divide as you create your own creation or learn to follow and understand a pattern.

Course Highlights:

Week 1 – Cast On and Knit: Start from the very beginning as Peggy teaches you the essential cast-on technique and the fundamental knit stitch.

Week 2 – Purl Stitch: Dive deeper into knitting with the purl stitch, expanding your knitting repertoire.

Week 3 – Project Work: Put your newfound skills to the test as you embark on exciting projects such as hats and charming Peggy squares.

Week 4 – Reading Patterns: Peggy will demystify the art of reading knitting patterns, making complex designs accessible.

Week 5 & 6 – Working on Projects: Roll up your sleeves and work on your chosen projects with the guidance of our experienced tutor.

Week 7 – Exploring Advanced Patterns: Delve into the world of intricate patterns like cables, and unlock new creative possibilities.

Week 8 – Cast Off: Learn the final step in completing your projects as you master the art of casting off.

About Your Tutor, Peggy:

With a passion for knitting that spans generations, Peggy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom. Her knitting journey began at the tender age of 10, taught by her grandmother. Over the years, Peggy has lovingly crafted an array of knitted treasures for her family, including baby clothes and cozy hats. Today, she continues to share her craft, knitting hats for sale and helping others discover the joy of knitting.



Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to expand your knitting horizons, this course offers something for everyone. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills to create beautiful knitted items and a newfound sense of accomplishment.
